Is your personal consumption of oil part of the problem?
Our personal consumption of oil is not relevant to thw world' s oil supply, but our use of oil throughout the year is greater due to the fact that people think they are not contributing to the oil problem but by this point they have added a big part to the oil problem. People all over the world do not care about the problems oil is causing both in our own country and around the world. As time progresses the world is becoming more and more dependent on oil and the energy it provides for many different things. As a whole people all across the world need to find different energy sources, so we can both move towards a greener Earth and a less oil dependent world. In conclusion our daily consuption of oil from day to day is not a big problem, but as the years go on we add more and more the oil problem.

What impact does oil have on our environment?
Some of the biggest environment problems come from oil. It is polluting our air and working towards a really big global warming problem. Every year there are more than 5000 polution incidents involving oil and fuels. Global warming is an issue provoked by oil. Every year oil consumption is rising, and more countries are using oil. If we want to solve the global warming issue, we must take intiavite to consider other energy sources. If we want to safe the natural habitat of the earth we must look for greener energy. Such examples are wind energy, nuclear energy and fuel cell. If all the countries can work together the impact of oil on our environment can be abolished.

Are there any viable energy alternatives?
There are some viable energy alternatives, like wind energy, solar energy, hydroelectric energy, geothermal energy, nuclear energy and hydrogen energy, but some are more efficient than others and with less risk. For example: nuclear energy , if anything happens in the process and something explodes it is not just a small explosion, a whole country is affected. With less risk than nuclear energy, but not as efficient are wind and solar energy, because in the process nothing can happen that destroys a whole country. If there is no wind, no energy can be produced with wind and if the sun is not shining no enegy can be produced with the solar cells. The most efficient energy sources are geothermal, hydroelectric and hydrogen energy, because their production can't be stopped trough weather changes and water of a river can't dissapear. The best method would be to combine these things together, for example wind and solar energy, if there is no wind the solar cells are used and if there are clouds probably wind is there and you can produce wind energy and if that is not enough you include hydroelectric energy to compensate. For a household or a whole street the most efficient method would be to get geothermal energy.

In the words of some people, oil is the root for all evil. To some extent this is a true statement. For example when you go to the gas station to put gas, do you really know where that 70, 80, 90, or even 100 dollars worth of gas goes? Well recent studies have shown that this money is probably going to terroist organizations. Oil is a resource that is non-renewable, and is also found in the part of the world that is not doing so well in terms of relations to the U.S. and our allies. Terrorism can especisally be seen in the U.S. due to the attacks of 9/11 but also because terrorist groups in the middle East see the U.S. as a threat that has to be eliminated. The U.S. spends billions maybe even trillions every year in oil, this money is going somewhere and is obviously not going towards fighting terrorism. The U.S. is currently in Iraq, which is a hot topic for many American people, but the war in Iraq is fueled by terrorism and violence. Terrorists groups are getting funding from rich people and some suspect that the violence is fueled by oil barrons who support terrorism. Take a look at the video shown below, and see what you think about the war in Iraq. Also I encourage you to also think about where all this money for the guns and gernades is coming from. Its just a thought.......
